Problem Space:
Electrification is a critical pathway of the energy transition towards a more sustainable, lower carbon economy future. However, today’s infrastructure was not designed for this evolutionary pace, and will require a paradigm shift in terms of how energy systems are planned and operated.
Solution:
- Integrated systems modelling from the generating facility to the individual meter to accurately analyze demand scenarios and assess the impacts on energy systems across the entire value chain.
- Key capabilities include: Integration of customer and asset data with external sources to provide energy leaders with actionable insights on technology adoption and consumption behaviours, along with diverse scenario planning; utilization of geospatial data to inform electrification technology adoption; detailed load impact forecasting; and quantification of infrastructure impacts to inform solutions for grid reliability, affordability, and sustainability.
